You can leave Distant Horizon, but you can't leave the Distant Horizon Network! After 10 years in business, our firm is a case study of building relationships. From our roots as a start-up working out of a LaGrange apartment; to the era when we worked out of a loft in Printer's Row in Chicago; several suburban offices; and our latest endeavor, a retail "web design" store in Northwest Indiana; one thing has remained constant: building bridges.

Life has its way with people, but the more things change and the more we age, we realize that the quality relationships you build are the only thing that endures. We have employees that have worked for us two and three times over the years. We have client contacts that have contracted web development work with Distant Horizon while working at several different companies over the years. We have clients across the country and former employees that serve as a constant reminder that we have a heritage of greatness that deserves to continue.

I believe that to a certain extent you can't choose your friends and clients any more than you get to choose your family members. Some relationships just happen. And when we meet people of integrity, we try to integrate them into our fabric...be that as a contractor, vendor, employee, client or friend. When we meet people who are trouble...we try to burn lessons into our genetic code so that we don't fall prey to the same business mistakes again and again.
